TLGB

I was going to put this track as a bonus on another post but that would not be doing it any justice whatsoever. This is an OUTSTANDING remix. I will love this forever. Get this into your sets and ears NOW! Sounds like Jack Beats back in their heyday. Ooo maybe I've bigged it up too much? Now you won't want to make sweet love to it like I do. Fuck no back tracking now without hitting the backspace key... which I am not prepared to do just before I go out. Fuck man just download it!

Rico Tubbs

Old Skool beginning to the first track on offer sliding very sweetly into the duttiest of dub. Splash a few drops of beeps, squeeks and random samples of a soul singer warbling the words "let me tell you now" and what do you get? Hands in the air pure ear sex. The next one has Lil John (if not him his identical voice twin) in it and what the hell is not to love about him? Musically though Rico Tubbs production is tight, crank the bass up and get freaky.

Tonka

Piano break-downs are just sometimes so beautiful aren't they? Shame bloody Cascada and general shit dance music have taken them over. But don't be put off by this, there are no original killers here. This is Tonka's bass-ridden own. Anyone who gets Testimonials off of Steve Aoki, Shinichi Osawa, Laidback Luke, Judge Jules, 3 Is A Crowd, AC Slater, Rico Tubbs, Udachi, R!M!E!,Tommie Sunshine, Mighty Fools & DJ Rattus Rattus is without a doubt very very much worth a listen to our oh so humble ears. Get his EP out now

Bonus, we have a unique track here. DJ Jem has taken his favourite part of the Hangover and turned into B-more??? Not fantastic, but absolutely worth the listen if not only for the chance to hear about wolves running around the Vegas together:

DJ Jem - Strippers And Cocaine (The Hangover Mix)

On the other side we have something that possibly only good speakers will do true justice. I'm really liking Laidback Luke's style at the minute.

Disco Villains

Yeah it's Vanilla Ice, yeah you might be like me and be totally justified in being skeptical of just how good a remix of this can be. But god damn it, I like! Proper wonky goodness this. Now stop...collaborate and listen to this over and over again (ouch sorry for that I just had to take it). Noooooiiiice remix!

Bonus, not something so usual here from the boys but still a very unique and entertaining drop:

Tiesto

The King of big stadium trance has brought this out. It has catchy vocals sung by the brilliant Sneaky Sound System, pounding synths and topped with what Tiesto does oh so perfectly. I love this summery song and it made me slip on ice whilst doing my standard subtle dancing as I walked through London so I conclude it is well worth the download!

Last Japan

This guy is only 20!!! Ok maybe not as impressive as first seems, but trust me the tracks on offer have a productional wisdom to them that few young DJs can profess to owning. You can understand why he has had multiple releases on Southern Fried at the tender age of 20. His first solo outing ‘Jungle Warrior’ EP is out now and well worth the purchase. The Shystie remix is similar to Pon de Floor and no one is complaining because of it, but all tracks here will seemlessly fit into many fidgety sets. I love the Sugarhill Gang - Apache sample thrown into Jungle Warrior. HUGE TUNES...HUGE LOVE for this guy for creating EXACTLY the music I needed today.

B.E.A.utiful garage

Just really REALLY beautiful 2-step garage, especially the Kastle track which just whines it's way into being perfectly placed into a seduction scene from the movies. The Boog-A-Loo Crew have a more bassy vibe to their track but it is similarly gorgeous chilled music. I am nursing what is probably swine flu for the 2nd time at the minute, forgive my way too overly loving terms that are being thrown around in my blog posts at the minute, I think I am getting a bit delirious!

Johan Hugo

Johan Hugo is the producer/dj of Radioclit & of the newly successful band 'The Very Best...'. This track is nothing like any Radioclit I've ever heard, with it's anthemic upbeat synths pulsing throughout instead of the more electro-filthy connections we are used to. I can't give you much more information on this guy because as a single entity he is relatively new, but if this is the start then I'm looking forward to his individual progression within the world of dance.
